We are the husband and wife duo of Hi Frequency Studio.  A local + family owned business.

Both born and raised in Hawai`i, we started our love for Mobile DJ (Johnathan) and Photography (Ruby Lynn) as young teens.  Most of our skill sets were self-taught through practice, hard work and a little fun — who else is going to play the jams at the bbq and take the family photos?

When our son became a freshman in high school, we started to think about his graduation.  Thus, turning our passions into a business and sharing what we love to do best.  Hi Frequency Studio was establised in February 2020, at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.  With all the regulations that came with the pandemic, we wanted to offer families a chance to still celebrate their graduates by providing an unique combo —graduation portraits, mobile dj at a safe distance and an open air photo booth, perfect for drive-by celebrations.
